The National Chairman of the African Action Congress (AAC), Omoyele Sowore, joined other participants at the maiden edition of the Abuja International Marathon held on Saturday.
Sowore, who was also the party’s presidential candidate at the February 25 election, shared photos from the event on his Facebook page.

Kenya’s Emmanuel Naibet and Bahrain runner, Ruth Jebet, won the race’s men and women’s categories respectively.
Naibet won the race with a time of 2:13: 45. This is the second time Naibet is winning a marathon in Nigeria. He won the 2021 edition of the Access Bank Lagos City Marathon.
